Soai Pham Van Vu
Born in the imperial city of Hue, Central Vietnam, I grew up with Hue’s abundant heritage and rich traditional cultures. I also fell in love with the glorious royal architecture of Vietnam's last feudalism dynasty (1802-1945), the charming Perfume River flowing through the city, and the lively market places in the countryside.
With just a point and shoot camera (that is not even mine), I started taking photos in 2003. That moment ignited my immense love for the craft. In 2009, I bought my very first DLSR camera and went on a South East Asian exploration to pursue my passion for photography. In 2011, I decided to quit my ten-year full time job as a digital marketing lead to roam around the world and create more stunning photographs.
For over 10 years, I have worked as a freelance professional travel photographer & hospitality content creator. I have spent most of my photography career collaborating with top inflight magazines in Vietnam and working with international travel media agencies like the Culture Trip, Condé Nast, and Roads & Kingdoms.
My goal is to share and inspire people with my intensive travel experiences, showcasing thousands of travel destinations, diverse cultures and people stories in Vietnam and rest of the world. Undoubtedly, my works have earned me a place in the top 10 Vietnam Instagram accounts to follow for holiday planners.
